Chris Moffitt│Director
Qualifications: Chris completed his Bachelor of Business Degree with the University College of Central Queensland in 1990 and was admitted as a Certified Practising Accountant in 1995.
Area of Expertise: Chris commenced partnership with Paul Griffin and Barry Hancock in 1989, and is now the Sole Director of Griffin Hancock & Moffitt. During the last 23 years, he has attained a wide range of accounting and business expertise. Chris is committed to providing exceptional and timely client service, qualities which have enabled him to build strong and valued professional relationships with all clients. He recognises the importance of being available when needed, and regularly talks with clients after business hours. Chris provides advice on Taxation, Business Structures, Budgeting, Planning, Cash Flow Planning and ongoing monitoring of Business Performance. For the last 10 years, Chris has primarily worked with business clients, in a diverse range of industries. Chris is committed to working with his clients to help them maximise their profits and achieve their business and financial goals.

Keiran Mulhall│Senior Accountant
Qualifications: Keiran completed his Bachelor of Commerce and Accounting Degree with the University of Canberra in 1996 and was admitted as an Australian Chartered Accountant in 2004.
Area of Expertise: Keiran joined the team as a senior accountant at Griffin Hancock & Moffitt in 2005, bringing with him a wealth of accounting and financial knowledge. Keiran specialises in giving advice to clients to help them grow their business, increase their profit, protect their assets, maximise the value of their business and reduce the tax burden on their business. In doing this he recognises the importance of developing a trusting relationship through good communication and providing focused and customised service. Other services Keiran provides include Taxation Preparation and Advice, Business Financial Health Assessments, Budgeting and Cash Flows, Succession Planning, business purchase and sale advice, and assessments of the tax effectiveness of investments. Keiran is very passionate about working with clients to achieve their business, financial and lifestyle goals.

Debbie Wessling│Senior Accountant
Qualifications: Debbie completed her Bachelor of Business Degree with the Central Queensland University in 1995 and was admitted as a Certified Practising Accountant in 1998.
Area of Expertise: Debbie is one of our valued Senior Accountants at Griffin Hancock & Moffitt, having joined our team in 1995. Debbie has developed strong relationships with many clients across a vast array of industries, consistently providing dedicated service, solutions and specialised taxation, GST and FBT advice. Apart from her tax experience, Debbie brings a great depth of knowledge in the areas of Quickbooks, Quickpayroll, MYOB and other computerised accounting applications, providing training and support to all clients. Debbie also specialises in the set up, processing and administration of all Self Managed Superannuation Funds. Debbie prides herself on being able to provide support and advice to her clients in a timely manner, and assisting her clients to achieve both their personal and business goals.

Emma Degotardi│Accountant
Qualifications: Emma completed her Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree with the Central Queensland University in 2005 and was admitted as a Certified Practicing Accountant in 2010.
Area of Expertise: Emma joined our firm in 2006 following her university studies. To integrate her long term professional and career goals, Emma completed postgraduate studies through Deakin University, and was admitted as a Certified Practicing Accountant in 2010. She has developed solid accounting experience in her role among the accounting staff, being responsible for the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Fringe Benefit Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements, and services clients from all types of industry backgrounds. Her dedication and willingness to advance her career has seen Emma quickly progress at Griffin Hancock & Moffitt, and has affirmed her place as a valuable member of our team.

Kelsey Griffin│Accountant
Qualifications: Kelsey completed her Bachelor of Business Degree with the University College of Central Queensland in 1991.
Area of Expertise: Kelsey is one of our original team members, commencing work with the firm as a Trainee Accountant in 1989 while undertaking her business degree. After an absence from the firm for a number of years from 1996 to raise her young family, Kelsey rejoined our professional team in 2004. She works closely with the Senior Accountants, providing a valuable supporting role in the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements for a various range of clients. Her diligent nature and extensive practical experience makes her a valued member of our professional team.

Samantha Fox│Trainee Accountant
Qualifications: Samantha commenced her Bachelor of Accounting degree at the Central Queensland University in 2008.
Area of Expertise: Samantha joined our team in January 2008. Her personal career goals lead Samantha to take on an accounting degree, building further on the practical experience being gained working in a professional office environment. Samantha is a valuable member of the team, as she performs a vital support role to senior accounting staff and is primarily involved with the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements, in addition to Banklink processing. Samantha’s enthusiasm and willingness to learn makes her a vibrant addition to our team.

Wendy Dunnett│Office Manager
Area of Expertise: Wendy joined our team in 1999 and as our Office Manager, attends to the daily running of the administration operations of our firm. Wendy's friendly and helpful persona and ability to assist clients has made her a valuable member of our team. Wendy plays a critical role within our firm which encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from managing the activities of our administration team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our computer systems , to liaising with clients on issues relating to the Australian Tax Office, Australian Securities & Investments Commission and other professional institutions. She also attends to all corporate compliance issues relating to ASIC and assists with the incorporation of new companies and trusts. She has extensive knowledge in all areas of administration and the day to day running of an accounting firm. She is also responsible for the electronic preparation and lodgement of all Business Activity Statements, and ensuring that all GST deadline obligations are met for our clients.
Wendy prides herself on providing valuable support to all our clients and professional staff. With experience spanning 27 years in the administration field, she plays a critical role attending to the many varying functions of our firm.

Lee-Anne Peters│Bookkeeper
Area of Expertise: Lee-Anne joined Griffin Hancock & Moffitt in 2006, following 23 years of employment in the banking industry. Owing to the great depth of experience gained working in a financial field, Lee-Anne understands the importance of client confidentiality, accuracy of records and efficiency. Lee-Anne provides a valuable support role to the accounting staff and her responsibilities include the set up of accounting files, preparation of Business Activity Statements and administrative support. Lee-Anne's willingness to help makes her a vital link between the professional and administration staff. Her positive outlook and pleasant nature makes her a valuable member to the firm and a friendly face for clients to deal with on a daily basis.

Melissa Herdman│Receptionist
Area of Expertise: Melissa joined our team in August 2008, bringing with her 7 years experience in the customer service industry. As the first point of contact for clients, Melissa plays an essential role as our office Receptionist. She recognises the importance of her function within the firm in ensuring that all clients’ needs are accommodated, and aims to deal with inquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Melissa’s duties include attending to all incoming calls, collation of business and individual tax returns and general office duties.
